Why do you run? When was the moment that you identified as a runner?

I run to let my mind rest. when running I tend to forget about crap going on in my life and think about my splits and fun things that I am doing and are going to do.  I think that I identified myself as a runner either when my barathon time beat my 10k time, or when someone said “Oh its that fast guy” referring to me.

When was your first run group? What keeps you coming back?

March 21, 2011. I keep coming back because of the motivation and advice that I receive from fellow runners and the staff.

What is your favorite local race?

It is a tie between The Great St. Charles Ave. Road Race and the Jazz Half, I think there might be a theme there.

What is your favorite aspect of the New Orleans running community?

The competitiveness and the rivalries that are created by running and befriending people at races and run groups.

What’s your beer mile time?

What is your current running goal?

To beat 1 hour 30 min in the Jazz Half
