Why do you run?
It’s a hobby I’ve had all of my life. I enjoy the company and meet a lot of cool people.
When was the moment that you identified as a runner?
When I ran a half mile race as a five year old.
When was your first run group?
October 27th, 2010? What keeps you coming back? The people I meet, the friends, and the grapefruit.
What is your favorite local race?
Bogue Chitto Q50 Midnight Full Moon Half Marathon
What is your favorite aspect of the New Orleans running community?
People of all ages and professions come together and relate on a very basic level.
What’s your weirdest running-related story?
Was running with Brandon Ferrari in Tunica North Wildlife Management Preserve, stepped over a fence and all of a sudden was on the Angola compound. They picked us up and asked us a few questions before driving us back to our car.
