Louisiana Distance Project members represent a broad range of people from recreational walkers and joggers to local competitive athletes. Our members come from all walks of life and professions. Diversity is what makes our club strong. Our members set (and achieve!) personal goals and participate in local/regional events and enjoy the camaraderie of New Orleans race training with other awesome people.
What We Do
The Louisiana Distance Project is a local New Orleans running and walking training group with the single goal to help New Orleans runners and walkers reach their maximum potential. We specialize in New Orleans race training programs for 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon races as well as track and cross country training programs for local school athletes. Whether you're trying for that PR in an upcoming race, trying to crush the competition at your next track meet or you just want some fun people to run or walk with, we got you covered.
Our Training Programs: 3 Types
We'll help you get ready for some of the popular races throughout the year with New Orleans race training. You'll get a certified coach, a personalized training plan and you'll be surrounded with people after the same goal you are. Great for first-time racers or seasoned racers.
Our New Orleans track and cross country training programs help local school athletes stay competitive throughout the season. Its great for those who don't have a coach or just need a little more. We specialize in ages 10 - 15 with programs during the school year and summer.
