Our Race Training Programs

We specialize in 5k training programs and 10k training programs for many of the popular races in New Orleans. First timers are always welcome! We will get you from couch to 5k in no time. The advantage of our training program is that you get a certified coach and a personalized training plan to reach your goals. You'll also be training with others trying to tackle the same race you are. You'll meet up for group training on a weekly basis until you're ready for the fun part - race day! Distance: 5k or 10k (3.1 - 6.2 mi)
Program: 4 - 12 weeks
Race Day: March 3 & 4, 2018
Cost: $35 - $105

Join us as we train for the annual New Orleans Rock 'n' Roll 5k and 10k race. This race has it all. The New Orleans course is infused with live bands and cheer teams in a block-party atmosphere to keep you rockin' toward the finish line mile after mile.

Distance: 8k (4.9 mi)
Program: 4 - 12 weeks
Race Day: March 19, 2018
Cost: $35 - $105

Feelin' Lucky? Get your green shorts ready as we we train for the annual Shamrockin' 8k. Chase your pot of gold as you're serenaded by bagpipe music at every mile mark. The 8k course starts at the National World War II Museum and ends at Audubon Park with live music, food and of course, Guinness Beer. 

Distance: 10k (6.2 mi)
Program:  4 - 12 weeks
Race Day: March 31, 2018
Cost: $35 - $105

The race that started it all. Join us as we train for the annual Crescent City Classic 10k race. The CCC is one of the oldest 10k races in the nation.  Starting in 1979 with 902 participants, the CCC now boasts more than 20,000.  If you can only pick one race to do this year, make this the one!

Distance: 13.1 miles
Program: 8 - 20 weeks
Race Day: October 27, 2018
Cost: $70 - $170

Get a taste of New Orleans with the Jazz Half Marathon. The race begins and ends in historic Lafayette Square, and is followed by a post-party featuring live music by local artists and delicious New Orleans fare.

Program: 4 - 12 weeks
Race Day: Dec. 15, 2018
Cost: $35 - $105

The name says it all. This annual race winds along the mighty Mississippi. You'll get cool views of Gretna and the river. Save room for some jambalaya, red beans and rice and a cold beer after the race.

    When will I train?
    There are group training days each week where you will be training with others that have the same goal as you.  You can come to as many of them as you want. You are not required to do any group training but you'll definitely have more fun if you do. Click on the program you're interested in to see the specific dates and times.

    You will also be doing some training on your own. 

    Where will I train?
    Group training days will be done at the City Park practice track. You will receive a map with the exact location of where to meet up.

    When does training start? How long is the program?
    Each training program starts when you want it to. Click on the program you're interested in to see the specific dates and times. You can adjust the number of training weeks to fit your schedule.

    How much does the training program cost?
    Each training program varies in price based upon the # of weeks you would like to train for.  Click on the program you're interested in to see the prices for each program.
